4 pin female to 5 pin header?

Hi. I have a supposedly compatible replacement pcb for a condenser dryer, but instead of a 4 pin component labelled KN6 it has a 5 pin one. Can I still connect the 4 pin female to it? It looks as though the extra pin goes to a component labelled RL6 which is a duplicate of RL7 on the new board. On the old board there was only one of these components, labelled RL1. thank you.
