How would you describe late 70's to early 80's decorating styles?

Absolutely the ugliest. A true crime against humanity... I mean designanity. Though admittedly, I love orange and browns as a color schemes for clothes (suppose that's sentimentality burnt into my aesthetic DNA from the color schemes of growing up in the 70s and early 80s).
