I'm trying to save money by using Hjalpa hinges in Besta cabinets, in place of the "soft close" Besta hinges which are 10 times more expensive (in the UK at least).
However, the screws that fit Hjalpa hinges to the cabinet do not align with the pre-drilled holes in the Besta Cabinet.
I could probably fathom out where to drill new holes, but thought I'd ask you first if it is possible.

It would serve you well to discuss this with a member of the Ikea staff. Somebody who has a history of retrofitting the cabinetry.
