90s Music Video - Long Good Friday Theme

Hope someone can help - this is driving me up the wall.

Cannot remember band or song (obviously).

The storyline in the video has a little of the Bob Hoskins movie The Long Good Friday feel to it.

Music video is about a policeman who has fallen for a criminals girlfriend and the bringing down of his operation. Video ends with a shootout between criminals and or police in a field where they shoot each other.

Final scene is policeman and (former) gangster's girlfriend driving off in car and her counting the money they got from the criminals ill-gotten gains.

Video tries to give impression its in US (ie American vehicles) but think its in UK so probably Brit band.
