I am sorry Reyn, your intentions were sincere and honorable.
There are always people out there who are unhappy about
this or that. It is their insecurities not yours.

If you don't have objections from the Admin/Mods than
you shouldn't mind too much.

I agree with CJ. I thought people sent them to you, thus giving their permission. Easy for me to comment though, I was not in it :-)

I don't object, but I understand that someone might. If one posts a photo of self in one thread, which seems personal to a group at the time, even though we all know this is on the world wide web, I can imagine someone being disconcerted to see it used again, and then as part of something that is printed up in various homes or offices, and something that would go on another's blog.

Some people did post their photos for just a short time, for reasons having to do with work, or some other personal concern. And no, I don't think everyone on the collage volunteered a photo (I didn't, mine was part of a photo on Calamity's gallery thread). I did mention fairly early that Reyn could check Calamity's gallery thread, and I think someone else did later.

Whether a person is right to object, I don't know, but I can understand it.

Hey Reyn ....... You are a dear. And you worked so hard and did such a wonderful job. Try not to feel bad about this though. The person that objected to their photo being used , I am sure had personal reasons for doing so. I do disagree with CJ though, saying that it is their insecurities. I don't think we can come to that conclusion simply because they chose not to have their picture involved. I think osso summed it up pretty good.

I guess we've had these discussions numerous times:
The people who don't want their pictures shown, shouldn't
post them. Some members sent their pictures to Reyn
via email to be included.

A simple note saying: "Please exclude my picture from your collage" should be sufficient.

Thanks for your comments folks. I'm not upset either way. I suppose I could have just deleted the one photo, but I thought I might be treading on others' toes and they didn't want to speak up for fear that they may be seen as crabbing. I have no desire to upset anyone, and I thought to simplify my concern, and maybe others, it was easier just to dump the idea. I'm here to put a smile on people's faces, not a frown. :wink:

Reyn, it is too bad that there was someone unhappy with the collage. Dys said he wished he'd made a copy.

It was wonderful. Sigh.
