What happens on an extra point try for 2 , when the defense intercepts a pass in the end zone , and then fumbles the ball in the end zone, and then the offense recovers the ball in the end zone ? 0, 1, 2. points for offense and why ?
@bradybelly,
An interception would end the play. If the defender dropped the ball it would be an incomplete pass ending the play. If the ball were tipped in the air it would be in play and it would either be a two point conversion or an interception depending on who came down with the ball. There would be no fumble.
@InfraBlue,
So, the defense can't run an interception or fumble back 100 yards for a touchdown on the failed 2 point conversion?
The football is live after a fumble, blocked kick or interception. This means that the defense can run the ball the length of the field for a touchdown if there is an interception or fumble during a 2 point attempt.

I believe this has only happened one time.
@maxdancona,
The defense can run the ball the length of the field for two points if it is an extra point try. It's happened several times in college ball, but the rule is new to the NFL.
