What would you do if your bank accidently paid $20,000 into your bank account???

Would you tell them or spend
it?
Happened to me.
I went to my bank branch to
deposit 2k cash.
The girl at the desk made a
mistake an added an extra “0”.
So my balance was added with
20k. More than that, she gave
me a deposit ticket that stated I
handed her 20k in cash.
I could have gotten away with
the money. I had a deposit
ticket to prove it was mine.
But that was that girl’s first
week at work. She would have
been fired. She'd be missing 18k
in cash at the end of that day,
and probably had to pay it from
her pocket.
So I went to the desk again,
directly to her, and told her she
made a mistake on the deposit
amount. Then I handed her the
deposit ticket.
When she looked at it and
realised what happened, … the
look on her face!
