Hey,i have a question. Am i allowed to say "I usually try to avoid rainy weather"?
do i need the or a articles b4 the word weather?

Yes, that is not only allowed, you do not, in fact, want to put an article before the word weather. (It would not be incorrect to put the definite article before weather, but it would be awkward, and certainly something a native-speaker would be unlikely to say.)
