Which is correct and/or clearer:
The repair work for the following project have been completed as of 8/9/18.
or
The repair work for the following project is complete as of 8/9/18.

Neither is truly correct.
Sentence 1- rewrite as:
The repair work for the following project has been completed as of 8/9/18.
