Changing Demographics on A2K/What is Your Age?

Reply Mon 7 Mar, 2005 07:04 am
Egads! My, how we have grown in the last couple of years. We now have a population of 35,500+ members.

I have gotten the perception lately that A2K is getting "younger". Apparently, what I am sensing is that there has recently been an influx of young people, who are becoming active posters. Are some of the older members becoming less involved?

We have had demographic threads in the past, but I think that it is time to do another one. What do you think?

For the record, I'm 28y 7m 0w 4d 12h 0m (as at 14:10 GMT)

I think you're probably right, Phoenix. It'll be interesting to see if the poll backs up your theory. I might do another Location poll as well, to see if North America has loosened its grip on A2K. There seems to be more Britons around than, say, a year ago. Or is that just wishful thinking on my part...?

Grand Duke - I think that you may be right. There are quite a few more British folks around, although you are not going to get rid of us Yanks, anytime soon! Laughing

Well, maybe not Somalians, but those cats with the plates in their lips.

What are they called?

Because of the current administration, Duke, you may change that to run the world into the ground.

Because. . . ? Old age no longer takes great talent, boy. Just time.

I'm seven months older than Dys, if we're keeping score.

Rog- But there is old age, and old age. Anyone can be an old fart through luck and decent genes, but to be a MAGNIFICENT old fart, THAT takes talent!
