Drug-related euphemisms and terms are so cool! Not that I'm advocating drug use, but really, those people who come up with terms and euphemisms for drugs are very good at what they do. Just hearing the terms makes you want to try drugs.
Smoking a spleef, calling Dr. Cheeba, blazing a doobie, getting baked, etc...
Feel free to add your own!
Er, well, a person actually asked me once whether I had a "Marijuana cigarette." Does that count?
I saw a stand up comic on tv one time and he was talking about words that you used when you were young, but after that, never used them again.
"For example", he said, "The word 'tardy'. You used it grade school all the time, but after that it disappeared from your vocabulary. Can you imagine a couple of brothers standing on the street corner'.....
"Sheet, mofocka! Where your sorry ass been? I be standin' on this mofockin' corner for a mofockin' hour waitin' on your sorry ass! You are tardy"
Groovy man. Wanna buy a "lid"?
A "lid" was, if I remember correctly, this is a little hazy mind you, a quarter pound of pot and the good stuff could be had for a king's ransom of $15.00. At that price there weren't any stems or seeds - just bud. Far f**king out, man.
I like calling small, half smoked joints "Doobage".
That loosely ties into Kicky's subject matter. I guess I should have tossed the obligatory drug euphemism in there somewhere.
And all this time I thought a half smoked joint was a "roach".
They changed "roach"?
These crazy kids have to do everything their own way.
I guess, I lived under a rock. We just called it pott
You can say roach, some kids still do, but I prefer doobage.
Speaking of smoking, April 20th is coming up, who's getting wasted?
Roach and Lid! Haven't heard either in, well, more time than I care to think about.
Darned kids! When _I_ was a girl, we could get a lid for $25.00, the best preemo weed... AND we had to walk uphill both to and from school every day! Grumble.... these kids today....
