The lcm of 2 numbers= 14 times their HCF. The sum of LCM and HCF is 600. If one number is 280 find the other number

L = LCM
H = HCF
L = 14 H
L + H = 600
15H = 600
H = 40
L = 560
One of the two numbers is 280 which factors to 2*2*2*5*7 or 40*7. To get a LCF of 560, the second number must be 40 times 2 = 80.
The two numbers are 80 and 280.
