Erm... this is a place where you can say what you want, within reason, about any topic and see what others think of what you have to say! So any suggestions on what the first topic should be?

Well dys, unfortunately I am not familiar with that topic, however if you hang around long enough you may find someone that is.

Come on guyz! I don't care what the subject is, but try to make it a subject that everyone can have a point of view on! I know people are taking a look at this forum, don't be afraid to speak you're minds!

Well, Dys, it just happens I was thinking of the very same thing. Do you suppose it would be better to interspace your plantings with either salt bush or tamarisk (salt ceder) and let them pull up the bulk of the soil salts?

Not at all sure how you dispose of the salt seeking plants, of course. Burning sounds so, well, counterproductive.

I just finished reading an interesting book entitled "How to dispose of salt-seeking plants and win the admiration of your friends and neighbors."

Compelling stuff.

(That's the second time I've used "compelling" today)

I came here because, well, because. However, I hijack almost every thread I go into for some amount of time (with my partner in crime, you know who you are you sexy beast you....), so just randomly picking a topic and writing it in a thread that allows me to do so isn't quite as fun as doing it when I am not suppose to.

Lesser minds meet here, of course.

Hello, Letty, glad you could join us and shewolf, I am surprised you haven't given us a topic yet. You usually can't wait to express you're opinion!

Go with your strength wales. Announce your opinion on any subject and invite opinions. You'll get them and in a subject you feel comfortable with. Did I end that sentence with a preposition? Shame on me. (Slaps his own wrist)

Mostly i like the chat threads..

Hmmm... right now I am studying the orbital wall of the skull in the anthropology CD I have..
That may not be a popular subject.. haha

Poop
The best thing for your salt-plagued gardens would have to be all the dog poop in my yard that I haven't raked up yet. There's enough for at least 3 acres if you are prudent.
