This one girl that i like

This one girl im closed with likes me, but i dont, so i told her that i just wanted to be friends but now shes starting to like someone else and im jealous? Whats wrong with me? Am i being possesive? Can anyone share their experience?
Side note, i dont feel like i want to be in a relationship with her, im just jealous and i dont know what to do
