I'm going to back up Angie and say that I both like and respect Frank. I may have some minor problems with how he presents his arguments, but that doesn't change the content of his posts.

Edgar: What did this:
Quote:
Frank does truly deserve to be so much hated as he is on this thread.

mean? Could you repost that? The grammar's making it difficult for me to understand.

The last that I heard of Bib was when I PMed him about Paul Osborne. We had a chuckle or two about that poster.

I don't know; I think it's pretty dumb, but he and I have both demonstrated having difficulty in refraining from taking shots at each other. I'm not proud of my part in all that.

I think the forum is diminished without him. Nobody'll believe I said that (hell, I hardly believe it myself) because Frank and I have been at each others' throats so many times, but it's true. It's kind of like not having the Lakers around to root against any more - what fun is that?

I just sent Frank an email (apparently they managed to save all kinds of things I didn't realize when my old puter died) - gotta make sure I have a walking partner when I get to NYC.

Now when will you be here Beth? I've lost the thread. It's April, right?

frank is a fargin' bastich' he is also a friend of mine, He decided he doesn't like anyone here and say he hopes you all rot in whatever you guess to be hell. Frank lives in new jersey and you all need an explanation? Blatham only did what was necessary and I watched while Joe Nation took odds on his recovery, nobody likes Frank (Lola kicked him twice while he was down and Diane stole his watch)

I kicked him more than twice while he was down. The dear man scared me to death. But Frank is fine. And I'm sure he appreciates all the love.

Dys.......you stop telling those lies, yar gonna go to hell, with a bag full of switches, if you don't behave.

Very end of April, Lola. I'm not sure if I'm happy, sad or offended that the lawyer I was gonna review some files with while I was there will be on vacation the same week!

I'm excited and terrified about the trip at the same time.

So much walking to do, so much exploring to do, so many people to meet, and Frank's tattoo to admire in person. So much everything.

Holy catfish!

I just discovered this thread.

(Ossobucco linked it in Lola's Cafe!)

First of all...thank you all for the many kind things you've said about me...and about the relationship we've all formed with each other. This forum...and Abuzz before it...truly are incredible...and the friendships I've made here are every bit as important to me as the friendships I have in the non-cyber world. (Joe Nation and I had a beer and sandwich together last night...and our cyber friendships, as ususal, were part of our discussion.)

Sorry I caused so much consternation with my absense...but it happens almost every winter.

Nancy knows she ain't gettin' nothing done around the house as soon as the golf courses re-open...so she has a honey-do list a mile long to occupy my time during cabin confinement.

This year's list has been a bear!

I'm back...although I think it is in my best interests to confine myself to Lola's Cafe.

In the political arena...I find myself in the VERY uncomfortable position of having to root for success for the Bush Administration...an administration I absolutely loathe. But to hope that they fail even more than they seem intent on doing is self-defeating...and I simply will not do that...nor will I allow myself to be tempted to do it. So I think it better to avoid those threads.

I've said most of what I have to say about religion, atheism and agnosticism in as many different ways as I can think of...and I'm tired of the personal nonsense that seems to pervade all of those threads. I going to leave them be. If any of you sees a particularly interesting one that has a chance of being unusual...or where something new is being discussed....I hope you link me to it.

I'll look in.

As for my watch...it was a cheap one...so who cares that Diane took it off my arm while I was unconscious.

As for Joe, Blatham and Dys kicking me in the ribs and face while I was on the sidewalk...

...all I can say is that different people show love in different ways!

And I will pay those muthas back some day!

No wonder you have to have the full metal jacket to get up for a little land grabbing. You're all so nice and concerned and caring and chock full of the joys of empathy.I think I'll download Bing Sings. My Sex Pistols tapes have been a bad influence,Would I be better with Pat Boone?

Ah!The benefits of imperialism without the blame. One has to feel sorry for Mr Bush.

spendius,

You are so humble in every way. Now, I'm going to give you a kiss on the cheek and then you can go wipe it off over there in the corner.
