Hi, um can you tell me if this guy likes me? He talks to me somtimes, and laughs when I make a joke. He looks at my when he sits by me, when I look at him back, he looks away. Everyone says he likes me, but when someone asks him about it he gets really defensive and says he doesn't. But, he did say he wanted to be my friend. At P. E. He likes for me to chase him. 😂. When his friends come around they whisper in his ear, and they look at me. He gets mad and says "NO SHUTUP". Please tell me what you think?

He likes you. The tip off is that he laughs at your jokes, and that's the best sign I can think of. I just don't know how you can drag it out of him.
Try to become good friends first. Then see what happens.
And keep your friends out of this relationship. Don’t ask them to be messengers or find out things for you. That can mess things up.
