Alright. So I am in quite a predicament. My Facebook account has said that I've changed my email address, and has sent me a link to confirm this to my back up email address. Only thing is, I've not recieved any confirmation email. Any ideassssssssss?

First and foremost? This isn't Facebook IT or related to any third party that's Facebook support (doubt third party support is a thing either).
I think you fell into a somewhat obvious phishing email scam. That the initial Facebook contact wasn't from Facebook at all but made to look thusly.
