I've been in a Central American Country for a few months and there's a children's ministry here. We haven't worked with them b/c it just felt kind of weird. I've just discovered that Sara Kelley is one of there local leaders operating under the name Sara Stevenson. They are about to begin work in Puerto Rico and she seems to be helping open that new work up. The people here don't seem to know about her past beyond "I used to be in a cult but Jesus delivered me". They also don't seem like they want to know. I'm concerned for children's safety. Is she safe to be around children? Any advice?
I gather she is some kind of Family (as in xFamily) big shot?
I guess if you have actual information that she is dangerous, you could present it to the police.
In the absence of such information, I would advise just keeping your eyes open and watching for signs of abuse. I'm not sure what more you could do.
