The light in my daughters room goes on and off sometime. I check to see if it is the light bulb to make sure it was screwed on tightly and still the light goes on and off. Could it be a problem with the electrical wires from the light lamp or is it the switch on the wall?

@Kani J,
1. Put a new lightbulb in your daughter's lamp and see how that works. If it doesn't:

2. Switch your daughter's lamp with another lamp that you know works well and see what happens. If the problem stops, you know it's your daughter's lamp that is the problem. If the problem continues, then you know it is the fault of the wiring.

I'm guessing ... really lazy and unambitious poltergeist.
