You want to know if a certain shop sells an specific item. How would you ask the seller?
I've heard that I should say: Do you carry.....?
Is it correct?
Do you keep (British), do you sell, do you have, do you stock? Carry is mainly American usage as far as I can see.
Old British joke:
Man goes into shop, girl behind counter.
Man: do you keep stationery?
Girl: yes, until the end, and then I go wild!
