Urgently need to know answer to Baffler in Colossus 147,
Posting today in express envelope to reach Lovatts by Thursday.
Would some kind person know the answer to “ sergeant” ,I have letters SN- O
Also clue “local bigwigs” and “use asl or bsl”
Three clues altogether ,

Sergeant= SCNO (senior non commissioned officer)
Use asl or bsl= SIGN (American sign language or British sign language)

Many thanks ,already had to send it an hour ago to make it to Gosford from the desert in WA!
I guessed at that sergeant clue and put scno in...... .bigwigs I put grandeurs and I got sign correct so here’s hoping.
