[This isn't to make fun of current high schoolers. I know not all of you guys are annoying. I, myself, was a "nerd" so.. ^_~]

I don't feel right about going into the situation in detail, but I've been dragged into a "he said", "she said" deal with two very close (to me, not to each other) people. The bickering is both online and off, each party blaming the other for something that, in my opinion, is childish. These aren't even teenagers. They are in their 20's. I think that this sort of petty bickering is foolishness, and I believe that they should just block each other's emails and IMs, not speak to each other when they pass in the hallways, and just act like the other doesn't exist, so they (and those caught in the middle) can get on with their lives. The reason I don't suggest them talking it over is because they apparently can't do that without it escalating into a blame game.

It's such a pride issue with those two. "No, I will not back down. I have been insulted, and I have the right to retaliate" is the general message. @#$%^ Just let it go, guys. I'm really brought back to the days when I was in high school, and two people were arguing over who called who a "bitch" at lunch. (And yes, that's basically what this argument is about.)

Sometimes, I think it's funny when two grown people start acting like dramatic, angsty high schoolers, but when it's people I know, and they drag me into their arguing, it's pretty frustrating! Have any of you had to put up with stuff like that?

yeah. Some people refuse to grow up.

I have a friend who refuses to act her age. It's annoying.

apparently possessing an adult maturity level is not a prerequisite for a career in engineering...

I wish it was a prerequisite for turning 20. x_X I admit I may not be the most mature person in the world, but some people are just pathetic.

I often dream of being back in school, facing a final exam, or life in a dorm room. They are almost nightmares.

Why don't I ever dream of my old college girlfriend? Now that would be worthwhile. Laughing
