Jewelry boxes/ring boxes

Hi. I'm new here. I hope my question is in the right category!

I recently inherited some rings from my grandmother (she was a collector of estate rings!), and I'm looking for a good place to put them. She kept them all in separate little ring boxes, but I think this is a little too unorganized for me. I would like to keep them in a jewelry box made specially for rings, like those that have rows or slots to hold several rings in a row, wedged in, you know? There are none of these in stores nearby, and I tried to find this online but didn't have much luck! Any suggestions where these ring boxes can be purchase? A friend of mine has a real nice clear plastic (or acrylic) one, but she doesn't know where she got it!

Thank you in advance for your help! Exclamation

I don't know what you want to spend on a jewelry box, but just looking through the net, I found loads of boxes with slots for rings.

Hello Phoenix, thanks for your reply. But that is not the type of ring box I am looking for. I too found many of those while doing a search. I am searching for a box that is design for rings only, like a kind of flat box that has those 'ring rolls' in the link you showed me, but ONLY those ring rolls or slots, no spaces for other types of jewelry. This is what I find impossible to locate, but I know they exist somewhere. Wink

I don't think that this is exactly what you want, but it IS made for rings!

Bombay Co. has a very nice small ring box on sale on their site. It's priced at $19 and is also a music box (plays "Diamonds Are A Girl's Best Friend" when opened. Mahogany finish. It only holds 6 rings, though.

Hi! Thanks, everyone. I love best the dark blue one Eva gave the link to, it's beautiful! Now I am going to have to buy some more rings to fill in the empty spaces, someday! What I'd like to know, how did you find the rings-only boxes? When I search with key words, I never found the right kind. Maybe I should be looking at sites that sell 'organizers?'

If you are interested in the value of the rings, keep them in the original, individual ring boxes.

If you will be wearing the rings often, you can put them in other boxes - just make sure you can match the ring to the original retailer's presentation box if you plan to sell. It can often increase the value.

If any of the stones are semi-precious, do not consider keeping the rings in anything plastic - or anything with sharp edges that can damage them on contact.

I thought you'd like the blue one! You just have to google for "ring box" and go through 20 or 30 pages. <yawn> Glad I had the time yesterday...if you'd asked me today, I wouldn't have!
