Are you a student?

Are you learning English?

"Designate" means to show, find or indicate.

@Bameyi,
"Designate the upper part of an image ontology."

The sentence is not interrogative, it's imperative.

What's the context of the sentence? It seems to refer to the upper part of an individual image, or the first image or images of a set.

@InfraBlue,
Infra - As ever, no disrespect.
You're posting for the bollux of it.
You're bored - Have little else to do.
It's ok to want to be a part of a clan, group, religion... etc. But don't offer advice to ppl - Just for the (expletive-pending) **** of it.

@mark noble,
I simply gave a definition for the word, "designate" - which I thought was the question.

You are right, I don't know what an "image ontology" is, but just tried to help with the sentence construction.

With that, I'll leave you belly-button contemplators to yourself.

@PUNKEY,
I apologise, Punkey.
I overstepped my mark.
I'm far too used to philosophical (Warfare) And forget this is a broad-spectrum site.
