What is it?
anyone....anyone.....anyone....
Is there a formula?
It's got to be late spring/ early summer -- the first day it feels genuinely warm and summery. Flowers are blooming. School will be out soon. May-ish?
For me it's around January 10th. I hate the long, cold, dark days of winter and although the solstice is the shortest day of the year, it isn't the earliest sunset or the latest sunrise. Sunset turns around first, around the 10th of December but sunrise doesn't start getting earlier until a month later. For me, that is the day that I know spring will come again and I will survive the winter doldrums because both sunrise and sunset are expanding outward towards longer days!
Is that tax freedom day or whatever it's called?
Nah, the daughter graduates from college.
