I have deleted a contact by mistake. When I search for the contacts name and click into the conversation box it say accept or block. Does this mean that they have not deleted me from their contacts and if I press accept it will add me back to their contacts

Where? What venue? "Contacts" could refer to many sites and social media platforms.
