http://www.travellady.com/Destinations/india.htm
Thank you for the links, Brahmin. I think you should start another thread on travel to India, though, as this is Dagmaraka's diary here and I think we are hijacking it a bit - also it would be nice to have a more general Topic about the subject for other people who aren't reading Dagmaraka's diary to see.
welcome. and yes it crossed my mind too - but who would read a thread i start with links to travelogues on india ?? so i thought, at least those who read her story may be interested in others as well. anyway i will leave this one well alone from now on.
Kicky led me here. Thank you, K. I shall read along, and maybe post later. BM
Gosh, what a lot of information there is here. I hope most of you are still participating. Brilliant descriptions, Dagmar, of a fascinating experience.
I have pricked up my ears because I am contemplating a trip to India later in the year. My adviser and travel guru has so far mentiones plans to travel to Mumbai, Bangalore, Delhi, Kerala, Rajahstan, Kathmandu, and seemingly all points east.
How much of this will be possible remains to be seen, but thank you all for the informative and entertaining introduction.
I got my shots today, jabs, immunisation, and a course of malaria tablets.
Well, early days yet, we are in the pre-planning stage.
Which I think is also called the panic stage.
If they are jabbing you with needles, you are giving credence to pre-planning.
Hold your dominion.
Zomeone zomewhere zaid Dag is still in India, so I'm hoping for some informative activity here soon.
Come in, Dagmar. How was the trip?
Dag recently posted some photos at her MSN site, so we can tell she's out there - busy by the looks of it.
Have been checking info supplied by brahmin- brilliant.
Dag was in India ??? The same time as me ?? How come we did not get to meet ??
Delhi is having one of the hottest Augusts - now it explains why.....
Hola from Delhi! Am actually almost on my way home, just getting out for a few drinks with friends before i leave. one of these days, Super G, we'll have to have an a2k meet in Mumbai. McTag, have a blast. You will love Kerala, I can promise you that.
Started writing the Worldly and Street-smart traveler's Diary II - will post as soon as I get home - tomorrow or whenever I finish it.
