How to make him fall in love with me?

I am a second year Engineering student living in hostel, and I am deeply in love with my friend here but the problem is that he is straight. Once I asked him he said we can still be friends and that was expected, but since the day I told him he's behavior is changed, he's deliberately doing things to make me feel jealous.
Can anyone tell me what does he mean by this or how to get him

it's not a problem - it's reality

if he is truly your friend you do NOT try to make him fall in love with you

you find someone who is gay who loves you

now given you're in India, it's complicated due to legal issues - but you don't try to change someone's sexual orientation. you respect it - as your friend hopefully respects yours.

What things is he doing to make you jealous?

How can you be "deeply in love" with a person who does not reciprocate?

Sounds like you have a crush and all this angst is a turn-on.
