Who loves the parade of roses?

This year it's on New Year's Day, Monday. Last year it wasn't on New Year's Day, it was on January 2nd, because they have a rule to not produce it on Sunday.

To me, it's one of the Great American public spectacles.

@coluber2001,
Sorry. If I had a television, it would be tuned elsewhere.

@coluber2001,
I've seen parts of it on t.v. Can't say I've ever watched it fully or even wanted to. That aside, some parts of it are visually spectacular.

Such a waste of materials! What happens to all those flowers after the parade?

Being shown on the local NBC station and apparently on the Hallmark channel as well (finally a break after two months of their annual Christmas movie showings with nothing else!)
