Need ideas for choosing christmas gifts for my family, female aged 29 and my father aged 52, my mother aged 52. Have some suggestions?

Improvised exploding fruitcakes. The fewer relatives one has, the more valuable each becomes. And that's really the essence of Christmas spirit, I think.
