I love the comic, but the 'unique snowflake' bit leaves me a bit sour in the mouth, since it seems to be used more and more as a sneering insult these days.

They aren't as unique as some people have alleged. Snowflakes fall into one of 35 different shapes, according to researchers.
Shapes aside, they drift down in different sizes and combine with others in their own pattern. Some melt instantly so we never even get to figure what shape it was....
