Is my husband cheating?

My husband and I share an Apple ID. I was on my daughters ipad and found a strange text. It appears that my husband met up with a hooker while he was supposed to be working. I googled the phine number and found it was a hooker. I confronted him and he swears he knows nothing about it. I checked his phone and found that that phone number had also been called that same day from his phone. He is denying the whole thing.
Is it possible that this text and phone call were for someone else? Or not meant to be on our Apple ID ? I have no idea how it could be on my iPad if it wasn’t him? This sounds silly, I’m pretty sure I know the truth.
