Looking for some help talking to a girl. I am in college and my confidence is shot to be honest due to past relationships. Anyways long story short my ex sits to my left and this super cute girl sits to my right. I’ve said hi to this new girl a few times and asked her for notes one day. But I can’t stop thinking about her. I’d really like to get to know her. But it’s awkward in class because my ex sits next to me even though we are 1000% friends. I don’t want to be creepy and hit her up on Facebook because I’m looking for something real. Maybe I’m just over thinking this but any advice will help.
Thanks!!
@Nanerpeal,
You obviously leave the lecture hall at some point in time, yes? So walk out with your crush and ask her if she wants to get a coffee or a soda.
Your ex is now your friend. You seem to want to start up something with this new girl that's more than friends.
Are you saying you need permission from your ex to do that?
@PUNKEY,
No not at all. It’s just that we still talk to some degree, projects for class and such, but it’s more or less awkward
Any new GF will probably want your complete attention, anyway. So get your TOTAL freedom now.
It really sounds like you have unfinished business with the ex....
