Years ago, I had a bleeding fibroid and was extremely anemic. There were some funny stories to go with that, but it was a serious condition, for which I had surgery to get rid of the fibroid. Anyway, I was give follow up advice by my doctor, with iron pills involved in bringing me back to health.

Please don't just run out and buy iron pills! See your doctor to be sure you get the right medication. It's been thirty years since I had that anemia, and medication choices may be different by now. Besides, the doctor needs to ascertain what is going on with your particular condition.
