I sent a text message to the wrong person!!!!!!

I texted a friend from work some personal stuff about my life that I was texting my dad. Thought I clicked my dad's name but I clicked his because I had been texting my friend earlier. This stuff was about the job we work at but it didn't name any names of the company or people. I made up something and told him it was a message one of my best friends sent me and he needed some advice so I was sending it to my sister for her opinion. Iduno if he believed it or not. I can't have that going around work. I don't trust this guy 100 percent. We have had some problems in the past getting along. Should I try an use his phone tomorrow to pretend to make a call and delete it or should I just shut up and take the heat if he does show someone it?
