Last night at the beginning of the show we blew off two flash pots that were so big the concussion blew two of the bulbs in my lights and knocked Jays cord out of one of his cabinets....a major attention getter...shades of 1981.....good times...
Were you guys doing a lot of covers?
The band last night at this place were the gayest group of musicians ever assembled. Playing Goo Goo Dolls, Bon Jovi, and a bunch of other sugarcoated pop "rock."
I was so psyched when they stopped and hip hop was thrown in the mix. I could only then get my booty shaking skills on.
We had to share the stage with a lame, pre-programmed duo...but I'll give em credit. They did a mean "White Wedding" and packed the floor.
We countered with "Brickhouse" and "You Shook Me All Night Long" but they got the best of us.
We play mostly covers in our tribute band and we have the big hair thing going on, but gay and sugar coated is not the way to desctibe us. Sleazy is us....
