why students do not choose career which is best for them? why they follow the same trends and choose the career their friends are choosing? what are the major problems that they face while choosing a career ?

Because people rarely know what will make them happy or keep them fed for decades, and because technology moves so quickly that jobs spring up which didn't exist when they were first choosing their careers. Also, people are afraid of the inevitable loss of income that happens if they change careers.
