Liquid water exists on the Earth, and its presence makes life as we know it possible. Which factors allow the Earth to have liquid water?

Choose one or more:
A. distance of the Earth from the center of the Milky Way
B. the fact that the Earth is more than 4 billion years old
C. the concentration of gases in the Earth's atmosphere
D. distance of the Earth from the Sun
E. the composition of common rocks on the Earth

@Romeron,
Distance from the Earth is only part of what prevents Earth's water from boiling into vapor, blowing away, becoming ionized into protons and oxygen ions, etc. If Earth's mass/gravity was less, or if its rotation was faster, the boiling point of water at sea level would be lower. If it was farther from the sun, the lower boiling point might not matter because dimmer sunlight would prevent the water from boiling/evaporating.

I would say C,D,and E. You can choose more than one.

Distance from the sun has an effect, the composition of the gasses in the earth's atmosphere affects the amount of water vapor and since some rocks have water absorbed in them, they also affect things.
