No, the Hohner marine(10holes) is a good blues harp. But you have to remember that a C harmonica is for playing songs in the key of G...silly isn't it?
OK , you'll need an A harmonica to play Mystic Eyes in the key of E. Do get the tune, you'll be amazed at the fury in Morrisons voice and harp playing...
Strange that you mention Hohner as my harp is a Hohner SilverStar. I've heard Larry Adler playing with Django Reinhardt (sp) and Stephane Grapelli (sp). He's cool. Gonna find Van Morrison in the sales as well!
Really nice sweater, Urusla.
And I got....
A corkscrew about the size of a breadbox...it has gears that go clack...clack...clack as the cork is removed....and it comes with a stand.
I got a GORgeous bracelet...antique brass with vintage-inspired semi-precious stone pendants all around, some carved into cameos.
my coolest present believe it or not wqas an AC/DC stocking cap I received from my daughter...I love the thing...I've barely taken it off....
eVA , bEAR Let's see...let's see!
If we still had a gallery, I'd post a picture there. <sigh>

That's a good gift, Roger!
I got to see my sister for christmas, a ton of home depot gift cards, a cd full of old family pictures and a ball gag.
I cleaned up on CDs.
Among them--The Damned, The Misfits, The Vibrators, Television.
I'm rocking out hardcore even as we speak. Look out now!
Oh I got a new cookbook and cooked for my ma and pa, first time in my life. Pad Thai, and it didn't turn out so bad, it was in fact edible.
BTW, I saw Delbert McClinton play in Kentucky a couple years ago. That was a classy scene, as you all can imagine.
He started signing autographs in the middle of a song, and
SOMEONE PASSED THEIR PROSTHETIC LEG UP TO THE STAGE FOR HIM TO SIGN.
First time I'd ever seen that.
At least he was sober enough to sign it. The one time I saw him he was so drunk his band were rolling their eyes.
But by all means get his live CD...it is phenomenal.
Pad Thai is sorta sweet ain't it? It's the only Thai dish I recognize.
JPN, wasn't Dahmer from Milwaukee?

Yeah....
Are you trying to insinuate that my ball-gag has sinister purposes???
No...I just had a flash to Pulp Fiction and...
So what do you use the gag for if I'm not prying?...I mean it is a singular Christmas present...Who gave it to you?...a favorite Aunt?
