Hello everyone, this is pretty much an emergency and i really need your help. I'm starting the Microgynon 30ED pill.
This is my very first time taking the pill and the instructions are not clear. It says "Start on the first day of the period from the colored section on the pack and select the right tablet for that day of the week ("Tue" for Thuesday). However in this colored section, out of 7 tablets, 5 are non-hormonals ones and the other to are actual hormonal one. So for exemple today is wednesday and it corresponds to a non-hormonal tablet. But if my period would have come one a saturday, i would have started with an hormonal one ... So i don't really get it, is it normal to start with an non-hormonal one?

@EvaHeller,

a call to your doctor or local pharmacist would surely work better than asking a bunch of strangers on the internet...
