How to clean the inkjet printer?

There should be a "housekeeping" option on this printer. Read the manual that came with the printer.

This will clean the printer head. You shouldn't have to do anything else sice everytime you change the ink cartridges, the printer will clean the heads.

On the printer menu, there may be a "clean printer head" routine. I have heard that this will use up a considerable amount of ink from the cartridges, so I do not use this option. I use alcohol to wipe each of the cartridges ink outlet. Sometimes this does not work. I have several ink jet printers that I have not used in years and they no longer print because something else is wrong with the signals going to the cartridges.
