Sometimes fighting alone against the world will make you realize friendship lives just a few moments more off the clinks. Friendship is a delusion. Forget about hands ,you won't even hear the prayers.
You can omit the word 'that'. In restrictive relative clauses you can omit relative pronouns which are not the subject of the verb.
Example 1 ('that' cannot be omitted)
The story that was on the news sounds plausible.
Example 2 ('that' can be omitted):
The story [that] you have just told me sounds plausible.
