COMMON LAW MARRIAGE/ COLOMBIA

Regarding Colombian common law rights to assets - a Colombian legal firm in Medellin states the following:
"Rights to Assets / Prenuptial: As for protecting assets, after passing 2 years together you will have rights to your spouses assets which were earned since the relationship passed the 2 year mark."
My question is this: What qualifies as the beginning of the 2 years? And if the time has been broken up by a trip back to Canada for 6 months, does this set the clock back to zero again? Please advise.
