There is no movement perpendicular to to the V angle x, so the force vectors in that direction are equal and opposite.
so m a sin x = m g cos x FORCE =MASS x ACCELERATION
tan x =g/a = 9.81/0.5 = 19.62
x = 87.1 degrees.
