I miss Dutchy greatly.There was only ever assistance in his answers - never any snide remarks.
Trouble with 1d. If it is Borrowed as I suspect it is - then what is 11a except Salt with 2d being Roly Poly.
I've got BESTOWER but I'm not real happy with that. Borrowed - yeah - I get the start of that with - ROB went back - but the rest is way over MY head.

Answer to 11a would be roll if 1d is borrowed as roll is seen with rock and is also served with a meal
