30D. "Doctor called, so I was confined to a particular area." I have *o*a*i*e*
and believe the answer to be "localised" which conforms to the latter half of the clue. However, I cannot see how it fits in with the first five words of the clue. Could some smart person clarify this for me. Thank you in advance.

What did you get for 35A? I have statuses, but then that rules localised out

Got it!! Statuses was incorrect. Localised is an anagram of "CALLED SO I". Thanks for your help puzzledjohn 😀
