Hi, I was wondering if I should get a 1.5mm sized ball bur, because I am working with 1.5mm sized crystals. Would this make for a good measuring tool, to make indents, and then once I drill a hole, use the 1.5mm ball bur to make a perfect fit?
Or should I just use my 1.00mm ball bur, and make circles to make the hole bigger.?
Which one is the better choice? thanks.

I would be very surprised if you've got good enough hand control to get a good fit with this technique. Not really sure what you're doing, but on occasion, it's sometimes better to make a radius slightly oversize to avoid an interference fit.
