We all know that solar cells have a certain amount of efficiency i.e. they can convert a small part of the fallen light onto them into electricity. I want to know what happens to the rest of the sunlight?
As for example, if a solar cell have 15% efficiency, what will happen to the rest 85% of sunlight fallen into it. How much of that is reflected back and how much is converted to heat?
@P J,
Good question. But I have no idea what the answer is off-hand. A bit of googling will probably reveal it however.
