Facebook behavior different on two differewnt Windows 10 devices

My laptop and my desktop both run Windows 10, with Waterfox as my primary browser.

On my desktop, I have the left column with groups, etc. the center with postings and the right with "news". Looks fine.

On my laptop, I do not have the left column with groups, etc. I just have the center with postings and the right with "news". As a matter of fact much of what is posted is clipped on the left side as well.

I've tried all types of repairs / changes to the laptop to make the left side column appear and to stop the clipping of the postings.

I have shrunk the page to 80% to no avail.

I have disabled the Waterfox browser add-ons to no avail.

I have used MS Edge, with the same results.

I have searched the internet and see that others have the same issue with no real solution.

Any thoughts, suggestions, etc?
