each/every is followed by singular verb

does the pronoun will also be singular ?

every animals has its own characteristics or every animals has their own characteristics?

You must use the singular noun - 'animal'.

When you use every + noun as a subject, it uses a singular verb:

Every animal has its own characteristics.
